The organization was founded by Mr. Udara Guruge, who is a gemologist and a professional marketer with a great passion for gem trade. Due to his passion in gemstones which has grown over the years, he has studied about Gemology, gem faceting and gem heat treatments to have an in depth understanding about the gems and its value adding processes.

Udara visits rural gem mining areas in Sri Lanka to acquire the absolute best gems stones. He personally and meticulously selects rough stones and oversees the cutting, faceting and polishing of gemstones before they been brought to our customers.
